Mid American Energy Transmission Lines

FLI-MAP was selected by Mid American Energy to collect LiDAR data and to process the data into a PLS-CADD deliverable, capable of direct use by engineering staff. Mid American takes advantage of the "economy of scale" by planning all their data collection needs for a year, into a single data collection, providing significant cost savings.

FLI-MAP is a mobile system that can be mounted to a variety of aircraft types.
Helicopters for use on a FLI-MAP project can be arranged by JCLS or provided by the client if they have access to a suitable type. This can offer consideable cost savings on a project.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have issued Suplementary Type Certificates (STCs) allowing FLI-MAP to be operated on the following helicopter types.
