Highway Maintenance and Construction

FLI-MAP is especially designed to survey remote areas with a high level of detail and precision and without obstructing the flow of traffic. Surveying roads can be a difficult and complicated and dangerous process. Since the daily life of millions of people is strongly depending of the ability to travel from A to B the network may not be obstructed for even a short period. The time it takes to measure large stretches of road network is not available in most of the cases.

FLI-MAP collects the topographical data of all structures and objects within the surveyed corridor, including road furniture, markings and vegetation. Even smaller objects, like mileposts, can be identified from the laser and imagery data.

The obtained data can be used and re-used for innumerable applications to improve safety and road user serviceability.
