FLI-MAP captures data on an average of 70-100 miles of corridor per day, far eclipsing the rate of data collection using conventional survey techniques. On proposed pipeline routes, this provides the client with informatin necessary to quickly evaluate the area and finalize a route.
Many features extracted from the LiDAR data, such as road edges and building locations, do not need to be recaptured by a traditional survey crew, thus narrowing the scope of work and saving time and money during the project.
