• Land Division--Conventional Survey
• Corridor Mapping Division--FLI-MAP

Since 1957, Chance has provided expert hydrographic and conventional surveys for the public and private sectors alike. Since 1975, Chance has provided satellite-surveying services, following the purchase of its first TRANSOT Doppler satellite receiver (the predecessor to GPS) and has been involved in GPS projects since 1984.

In 1995, John Chance Land Surveys designed, custom built, and has since operated the proprietary FLI-MAP airborne laser mapping system. FLI-MAP is a cost-effective alternative to traditional surveying and mapping.
